Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Died in a Los Angeles Car Crash
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in the state of California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.
The renowned video game developer lost his life when his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with Vince's family, his family, and all those touched by his creative vision," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts said.
